About the role
As the Director, Business Operations & Strategy, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives and optimizing business processes at Spring Health. Your responsibilities will involve leveraging data-driven insights to inform high-stakes decisions, diagnosing and resolving complex business issues, integrating AI and automation, and aligning cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Leverage data-driven insights and business intelligence from across the organization to empower senior leadership in making high-stakes, evidence-based decisions.
- "Parachute" into any underperforming or complex business area, diagnosing root causes and implementing sustainable, high-impact fixes.
- Identify and integrate AI and automated workflows into core business processes to drive exponential gains in efficiency and team output.
- Design and drive organizational structures and tools that optimize resource allocation—people, technology, and capital—ensuring the company scales without friction.
- Act as a connective tissue between departments, aligning stakeholders to mobilize quickly on the most critical company objectives and market opportunities.
- Maintain a pulse on external trends, AI advancements, and industry benchmarking to implement "future-proof" business practices.
Requirements
- 5 - 7 years of experience, with experience in consulting, investment banking, or corporate strategy required; top tier consulting firm experience strongly preferred.
- 1 - 2 years of operating experience at hypergrowth start-up.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree, MBA a plus.
- Critical Thinking and Analytical Rigor: Ability to deconstruct the most complex, messy problems into manageable pieces and generate actionable insights.
- AI Competency: You are a power user of AI and automation tools, leveraging them to solve problems and optimize your own output.

Pay
The target base salary range for this position is $177,200 - $221,500 and is part of a competitive total rewards package including equity and benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
Schedule
This is a full-time position based in NYC. Occasional travel may be required for team events or meetings. The role operates under a hybrid model, with three days per week in our HQ at 60 Madison Ave office required.
