Responsibilities
- Identify and target potential clients within the Office of the CFO in Chicago and the Midwest
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including C-Suite executives
- Leverage existing networks to position the firm as a top advisory partner
- Plan and execute impactful business development networking events
- Represent the company at industry events to enhance brand visibility and client engagement
- Collaborate with marketing to create targeted go-to-market strategies
- Monitor and report on sales pipeline performance to firm leadership
Qualifications
- 10+ years in business development with a focus on professional services, staffing, or software tailored to the Office of the CFO
- Strong professional network within the Chicago and Midwest regions, particularly among finance leaders and C-Suite executives
- Proven track record in generating new business and converting prospects into clients
- Familiarity with the business development cycle, including lead generation and pipeline management
- Ability to collaborate effectively across various teams and with different levels within the organization
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience working in entrepreneurial environments and comfort with adopting innovative tools like AI
Pay
$200,000 – $250,000 annually
