Responsibilities

  • Managing the development of qualified sales, acquisition bids, conversion targets
  • Planning, evaluating, and leading the development of strategies and operational plans
  • Identifying recurring issues, tracking trends, and leading the development of strategies
  • Developing sustainable acquisition plans and business cases
  • Developing bids, conversion plans, and business cases
  • Leading the development of responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
  • Leading seller negotiations for successful acquisitions
  • Developing communication strategies
  • Executing expenditures within authorized limits
  • Providing business intelligence

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • 7-10 years business development experience with a proven track record of closing deals
  • Excellent knowledge of effective sales techniques, methods, and best practices
  • Experienced in consultative sales and selling to C-level
  • Detailed knowledge of acquisitions, bids, and conversions within the transportation industry
  • Detailed knowledge of other potential business markets
  • Expertise in contract administration principles/processes/best practices
  • Knowledge of risk assessment/management techniques
  • Experience managing project teams involved in multiple, concurrent projects
  • Proven expertise in working with stakeholders across organizational lines
  • Working knowledge of information technology, enabling tools and technologies
  • Ability to travel

Pay

The salary for this role is $150,000 annually.
