Director, Business and Data Analytics

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Business and Data Analytics to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will shape the strategy and execution of business and data analytics capabilities that support informed decision-making across the organization. The director will oversee data storage, information delivery, and analytics platforms while helping translate complex data into clear insights for executive stakeholders. The position also plays a key role in advancing self-service analytics, strengthening data architecture, and aligning analytics priorities with evolving industry trends. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $164,780 – $314,960 annually Responsibilities Lead the strategic and operational responsibilities for data storage and analytics Oversee the execution of information and analytics platforms for key stakeholders Manage the end-to-end process of information management and delivery Integrate industry trends into current processes and strategic plans Provide thought leadership on data architecture and industry standards Identify reporting opportunities and promote advanced self-service analytics Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively managed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering, or a quantitative field; or 4 years of relevant education and/or experience 8 years of data and analytics experience in a complex financial services organization 3 years of leadership experience in building and managing high-performing teams Strong business acumen in measuring outcomes and understanding industry practices Experience with Agile methodologies in project management Ability to conduct large-scale data analysis for business decision-making Proven storytelling ability through data for executive communication Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans 401(k) and pension plans Life insurance and parental benefits Adoption assistance and paid time off with holidays 16 paid volunteer hours and wellness programs Career path planning and continuing education support Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
