The Director, Brand Strategy & Communications is based in the United States and is currently being managed by a partner company. This role involves shaping and elevating a brand’s identity, reputation, and market presence through integrated brand strategies that connect business objectives with meaningful audience engagement. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing an integrated brand strategy aligned with business goals, organizational vision, and target audience needs.
- Led external communications initiatives, including public relations, thought leadership, media engagement, and advertising strategies.
- Overseeing the creation of impactful content across digital, social, print, and other communication channels.
- Partnering with product, sales, customer success, internal communications, and business teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment.
- Mentoring and developing a team of content professionals responsible for executing awareness and engagement campaigns.
- Managing, monitoring, and reporting on key performance indicators to measure brand awareness, communication effectiveness, audience engagement, and market perception.
- Maintaining consistency across messaging, tone of voice, visual identity, and customer experiences.
- Collaborating with creative teams and field marketing partners to translate corporate messaging into compelling value propositions for different audiences.
- Managing relationships with external agencies, vendors, and strategic partners to support communication initiatives.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in brand strategy, corporate communications, and marketing leadership, with a proven ability to build strong narratives and scale brand initiatives.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling messaging for diverse audiences.
- Strong storytelling abilities with experience translating complex concepts into clear and engaging narratives.
- Experience managing agencies, vendors, budgets, and external communication partners.
- Proven ability to develop communication strategies that support business objectives and market growth.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring creative or communications teams.
- Able to collaborate effectively with executive leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field required.
- MBA or advanced business degree is a plus.
