The Director, Brand Strategy & Communications is based in the United States and is currently being managed by a partner company. This role involves shaping and elevating a brand’s identity, reputation, and market presence through integrated brand strategies that connect business objectives with meaningful audience engagement. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Developing and executing an integrated brand strategy aligned with business goals, organizational vision, and target audience needs.
  2. Led external communications initiatives, including public relations, thought leadership, media engagement, and advertising strategies.
  3. Overseeing the creation of impactful content across digital, social, print, and other communication channels.
  4. Partnering with product, sales, customer success, internal communications, and business teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment.
  5. Mentoring and developing a team of content professionals responsible for executing awareness and engagement campaigns.
  6. Managing, monitoring, and reporting on key performance indicators to measure brand awareness, communication effectiveness, audience engagement, and market perception.
  7. Maintaining consistency across messaging, tone of voice, visual identity, and customer experiences.
  8. Collaborating with creative teams and field marketing partners to translate corporate messaging into compelling value propositions for different audiences.
  9. Managing relationships with external agencies, vendors, and strategic partners to support communication initiatives.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in brand strategy, corporate communications, and marketing leadership, with a proven ability to build strong narratives and scale brand initiatives.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling messaging for diverse audiences.
  • Strong storytelling abilities with experience translating complex concepts into clear and engaging narratives.
  • Experience managing agencies, vendors, budgets, and external communication partners.
  • Proven ability to develop communication strategies that support business objectives and market growth.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring creative or communications teams.
  • Able to collaborate effectively with executive leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field required.
  • MBA or advanced business degree is a plus.
