Director, Brand Insights - Rare Neurology
This leadership role supports the customer and market insights needs of the US Rare Disease Business Unit and Brand Teams. As a member of the Business Analysis team, the Director, Brand Insights leads primary market research, competitive intelligence, and business analytics for a rare-disease asset, with a focus on launch preparation.
About the role
The Director, Brand Insights functions as a player/coach, designing and implementing actionable insights that influence business decisions, address patient and customer needs, and drive brand performance. The role develops and owns the insight plan for the asset, manages the related budget and resources, and collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders including the brand team, Market Access Marketing, Field Enablement, Sales, Medical Affairs, and Global.
Responsibilities
- Lead primary market research, competitive intelligence, and business analytics for a rare-disease asset.
- Design and implement actionable insights generation to influence business decisions and drive brand performance.
- Develop and own the insight plan for the asset, including budget and resource management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners such as brand teams, Market Access Marketing, Field Enablement, Sales, Medical Affairs, and Global.
- Integrate primary and secondary data into synthesized insights.
- Manage and coach a team to execute the insight plan and optimize performance.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years’ progressive experience in customer insights and analytics in the pharmaceutical industry or related consulting.
- Rare disease experience is critical; experience in immunology, neurology, nephrology, or oncology is a plus.
- Experience driving insights in both launch and inline phases in the United States.
- Minimum of 3 years leading a team.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Statistics, Economics, Life Sciences, Computer Science, or a related field.

Pay
Annual salary range: $186,489 – $278,875, plus incentive opportunity. The range represents typical pay for individuals hired in the United States, with actual pay determined by job experience, specific skills, and comparison to internal incumbents.
