BillionToOne is seeking an experienced Director / Associate Director, Oncology Product Marketing to lead the product marketing efforts for our oncology portfolio, including Northstar Select and Northstar Response. As the leader in Oncology Product Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing the product marketing strategy—from product positioning and messaging through go-to-market planning and execution.
Responsibilities
- Product Positioning & Messaging: Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management, Sales, and other teams to develop compelling product positioning, messaging, and supporting resources that resonate with target audiences.
- Lead Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute go-to-market plans for new product launches and product enhancements, partnering closely with Product, Sales, Marketing, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
- Simplify Complex Science: Translate sophisticated clinical products into clear, compelling marketing collateral, including brochures, leave-behinds, trade show materials, advertisements, press releases, and other commercial assets.
- Market Research: Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive insights.
- External Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with healthcare professionals, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), patient advocacy organizations, and other external stakeholders to drive product adoption and loyalty.
- Internal Partnership: Collaborate closely with Sales, Medical Affairs, and Customer Service to ensure consistent messaging and flawless commercial execution. Serve as the primary product marketing resource for the field organization.
- Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends and bring innovative product marketing best practices from both the precision diagnostics industry and adjacent sectors.
Requirements
- 10+ years of Product Marketing experience with a proven track record of developing and executing successful product marketing strategies within precision diagnostics, biotechnology, or healthcare.
- Bachelor's degree required; BS or advanced degree in Biology or a related scientific discipline preferred.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex clinical and market data and translate insights into compelling value propositions and commercial strategies.
- Deep understanding of product marketing principles, competitive analysis, and market research methodologies.
- Experience creating data-driven marketing content and commercial collateral.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and communicate complex concepts clearly.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.

Pay
For this position, we offer a total compensation package of up to $389,398 per year, including a base pay range of $187,573 - $241,165 per year, generous equity options, and a corporate bonus program.
