What We Need You To Have

  • Significant experience building data products or closely related solutions, with a track record of turning complex data into practical, high-value capabilities.
  • Strong hands-on data skills, including SQL and comfort using Python or R to explore, validate, and prototype with data.
  • Strong product instincts, including customer empathy, sound prioritization, and comfort turning messy problems into actionable product decisions.
  • A builder mindset, with a bias toward testing, iterating, and getting to practical solutions quickly.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across product, engineering, and business stakeholders.

What Would Make You Stand Out

  • Prior experience as an analyst, data analyst, data scientist, or data/analytics engineer
  • Exposure to a wide variety of datasets including different domains, structures and formats
  • Background in financial services or ESG data
  • Passion for design and UX, with a focus on creating intuitive, visually appealing assets that enhance understanding and usability.

For New York

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $140,000 and $180,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
