Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the strategy and execution for Agentic SOC modernization and XDR managed services, shaping differentiated value propositions for security clients.
  • Monitor industry trends, threat landscapes, and regulatory changes to develop innovative products and adaptive service models.
  • Drive investments in emerging threat detection techniques, automation, and service reliability to deliver a secure end-to-end solution.
  • Design modular service building blocks that enable flexible integration with partner technologies, support automation, and be replaced/upgraded without disruption.
  • Define and manage new product introductions (NPI), feature sunsets, and end-of-life decisions based on threat intelligence, innovation, customer feedback, and industry standards.
  • Direct operational service design for Agentic SOC modernization, XDR, and managed threat hunting, ensuring 24/7 coverage, automation, and incident response efficiencies.
  • Integrate orchestration tools and agile methodologies for rapid service delivery adaptation.
  • Prioritize alert tuning, workload balancing, and analyst enablement to maintain high Agentic SOC performance and reduce alert fatigue.
  • Oversee end-to-end lifecycle for Agentic SOC and XDR products: ideation, launch, enhancement, sunsetting, and EOL, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and incident response readiness.
  • Develop enablement assets such as Agentic SOC playbooks, XDR runbooks, use cases, and competitive battlecards to train internal and partner teams.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, threat intelligence, detection science, Agentic SOC operations, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to ensure a cohesive, resilient security services strategy.
  • Support sales and pre-sales efforts and provide expertise on differentiating service features and integrations.
  • Analyze market dynamics, security demands, and customer pain points to identify product opportunities and competitive gaps.
  • Segment requirements across regions and regulated verticals (e.g., critical infrastructure, healthcare, finance) to inform differentiated go-to-market strategies.
  • Define the end-to-end XDR/SOC customer journey, onboarding processes, and time-to-value metrics, focusing on rapid, measurable security improvements.
  • Lead VOC (Voice of the Customer) efforts, integrating feedback for ongoing product refinement and journey improvement.
  • Identify and forge partnerships with leading security technology vendors (SIEM, EDR, XDR, threat intelligence).
  • Drive joint innovation initiatives and third-party integrations to expand service capabilities and address client-specific security needs.
  • Develop and maintain competitive pricing models and list prices, integrating comprehensive cost and resource allocation definitions.
  • Create product positioning, messaging, and competitive strategy for Agentic SOC/XDR offerings.
  • Equip sales teams with messaging, demos, success stories, and battlecards.
  • Align product launches with broader Managed Security Services growth objectives.
  • Define objectives for technology partnerships, supporting third-party integrations that enhance MDR and Agentic SOC service capabilities.
  • Lead co-innovation initiatives and manage strategic partner relationships to drive continuous service differentiation.

Core Technical Skills

  • Solid understanding of Agentic SOC architectures, XDR solutions, SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, log management, and automation platforms.
  • Deep knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, ISO 27001) and threat intelligence concepts.
  • Experience with incident response, vulnerability management, and operational security workflows.
  • Familiar with cloud security and hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Ability to analyze, forecast, and measure product success using key SOC/XDR metrics (detection rates, response times, customer adoption).

Product Management Expertise

  • Demonstrated success in product vision, strategic planning, and roadmap development—especially for security operations solutions and managed services.
  • Proficiency with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban project management methodologies to drive continuous product delivery.
  • Experience in market and customer segmentation, persona mapping, and competitive analysis for cybersecurity products.
  • Service design and lifecycle management: launch, sustain, sunset, and evolve security products in alignment with business needs.

Compensation

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $139,200 – $289,000.
