Director, Advisory Services - Payer Strategy and Management Consulting - Remote

About the role

Drive strategic priorities, executive-level problem solving, and cross-functional execution on initiatives that matter most to the business. Partner with senior leaders and teams across the organization to clarify priorities, coordinate complex work, and turn strategic decisions into measurable action. Strengthen operating cadence, decision quality, and enterprise execution within a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-complexity strategy and transformation consulting projects for payer clients
• Build consensus among senior client stakeholders for effective solution implementation
• Oversee engagement managers and direct project deliverables
• Serve as a subject matter expert in areas such as health plan operations and AI enablement
• Maintain communication with senior client executives and establish optimal cadence
• Mentor project managers and develop consulting skill sets in team members
• Drive business development and lead proposal writing for new and existing client work

Qualifications

• 5+ years in management consulting, preferably with top-tier firms
• 4+ years in strategy and/or healthcare consulting
• Experience in project management with C-suite presentations
• Proven leadership in strategic initiatives
• Experience in managing high-performing consulting teams leveraging AI
• 2+ years in business development generating $1M+ annually
• Familiarity with diverse problem-solving approaches

Pay

$134,600 – $230,800 annually
