Director, Addiction Recovery Services
Provides leadership to addiction recovery and substance use programs and services in the Central and East Regions, overseeing operations, achieving strategic initiatives, and meeting performance goals. Partners with dyad physician leaders and the VP of Behavioral Health to ensure high-quality, accessible, cost-effective, and patient-focused care across the continuum. Collaborates with hospital-based behavioral health leaders to support inpatient care and clinical program performance, and participates in implementing the behavioral health strategic plan.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership for substance use services in assigned regions.
- Collaborate with leadership to facilitate addiction recovery strategic initiatives.
- Analyze industry trends to develop operational and programmatic needs.
- Lead addiction service program planning, implementation, and evaluation at both strategic and tactical levels.
- Actively participate in day-to-day operations of service delivery.
- Work with leaders and teams to adopt quality initiatives and manage program growth.
- Develop, analyze, and manage capital and operational budgets within organizational expectations.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations affecting patient care services.
- Support integration of patient care standards and practices with clinical programs in collaboration with leadership, physicians, and other disciplines.
- Oversee budget and expenses within areas of responsibility.
- Demonstrate understanding of financial analysis, pro forma development, capital planning, and economic considerations.
- Collaborate with leadership to achieve financial goals.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in a related field, Social Work, or Nursing.
- Experience in program development, implementation, and operational oversight in a complex healthcare system.
Skills
- Proven strong leadership and communication skills.
- Strong systems assessment and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret and assimilate clinical and business information from varied sources to evaluate metrics and communicate with providers, staff, and administrators.
- Experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating educational and quality programs.
- Knowledge of financial aspects and operations of department and clinic management in inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Ability to lead physicians, clinicians, administrators, and staff with demonstrated leadership, independence, responsibility, accountability, and good judgment.
- Strategic thinking and strong organizational skills to coordinate and manage multiple activities simultaneously.
- Ability to plan and facilitate meetings, delegate, hold people accountable for performance and deadlines, and determine priorities and critical path items.

Pay
The compensation range for this position is $50.12 per hour to $86.21 per hour, dependent on experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked, and compensation model.
