Director, Account Management
Omnicom Media Group (OMG) role within the dedicated managed-service product, Creo. Reports to the Head of Client Solutions, Creo.
About the role
This centralized position drives Influencer strategy and client management for Creo, OMG’s managed-service offering. The Director leads a team of Account Management professionals, oversees client/agency communications, presents campaign strategy, and acts as the primary point of contact throughout the partnership lifecycle. The role serves all OMG agencies, collaborating with clients and internal Activation Teams (IATs) on the execution and amplification of Creator campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Lead influencer communication for Creo clients, including proposal development, commercial agreements, and client communication from initial briefing to campaign completion.
- Communicate influencer marketing within the digital/paid media ecosystem and operationalize service offerings, positioning their value within the media environment.
- Serve as the central source of client communication across the influencer campaign lifecycle—from identification to reporting—with strong abilities to articulate each stage to clients.
- Articulate workback schedules and coordinate internal and external deliverables to ensure timely execution.
- Maintain a pulse on the influencer landscape, staying ahead of industry shifts and emerging trends, and communicate their impact on client business.
- Partner with OMG Center of Excellence (COE) platform teams and channel stakeholders to implement best practices across functions, including asset development, media amplification, commerce, and measurement.
Skills
- In-depth understanding and mastery of Influencer marketing, with the ability to align brand narratives with Creator-led storytelling.
- Strong agency account management background, comfortable leading internal and external conversations.
- Thorough understanding of the Influencer ecosystem, including organic roles, creative development, talent perspectives, best practices, and measurement.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong communicator and presenter, able to deliver persuasive and cohesive presentations and points-of-view.
- Highly analytical, with the ability to identify optimization opportunities and contextualize campaign performance in reports and client presentations.
- Creative mindset, translating social trends and influencer archetypes into client business objectives.
- High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills tied to implementing new processes and process improvements.
- Strong business acumen, making impactful decisions in a timely manner.
- Strong people leadership, including providing feedback, developing employees, and making staff utilization decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Marketing, Advertising, or Communications preferred).
- 4-7 years of experience in Influencer and preferably media environments.
- Hands-on experience managing Influencer campaigns and client relationships with blue-chip companies.
- Experience working on client business across a variety of industries.
- Experience managing direct reports.
Pay
$150,000–$160,000 (locations: North Carolina, Illinois, New York, Atlanta).
Schedule
Minimum of three days per week in-office, with potential for increased in-office requirements over time.
