Responsibilities
- Provide essential in-home and community-based support to children and families.
- Teach coping skills, promote emotional wellness, and teach essential life skills.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each child’s unique needs.
- Work closely with the child and family to identify individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Provide guidance and support to parents and caregivers, equipping them with the tools and strategies needed to effectively manage challenging behaviors and create a positive and supportive home environment.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Valid Arizona Driver's License with an acceptable 39 month driving record.
- Reliable transportation, including proof of Insurance.
- Candidates are required to submit a negative drug test.
- Obtain an Arizona DPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Complete Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and First Aid training.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED (a related bachelor's degree preferred but not required).
- At least one year of experience working with children with behavioral and emotional challenges.
Skills
- Passionate about working with children and families.
- Experienced in behavioral health, social work, psychology, or a related field.
- Skilled in communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building.
- Comfortable working in home and community settings.
