Direct Support Professionals (DSP) Personal Care Assistant - Caregiver /Williamsport

Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with light housekeeping, meals, and personal care tasks
- Join clients on walks and fun activities in the community
- Accompany clients to appointments, shopping, or other errands as needed
- Empower people to live independently and be part of the community
- Support IDD clients in reaching the goals outlined in their Service Plan
- Facilitate community integration, social engagement, and skill-building activities
- Encourage independence, dignity, and choice in daily living
- Accompany clients to appointments when necessary
- Engage in team meetings to share insights about the client's progress
- Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment through light housekeeping tasks as needed
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance
- Ability to successfully pass a variety of background checks and clearances
- Availability to work every other weekend, on holidays, and participate in an on-call rotation
