Direct Support DSP) / Personal Care Assistant - Caregiver

About the Role

We are looking for caring, dependable, and motivated individuals to work as both Personal Care Assistants (PCA) and Direct Support Professionals (DSP) depending on our available clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with light housekeeping, meals, and personal care tasks (training provided)
• Join clients on walks, fun activities, appointments, shopping, or other errands
• Help empower people to live independently and be part of the community
• Support IDD clients in reaching the goals outlined in their Service Plan
• Facilitate community integration, social engagement, and skill-building activities
• Encourage independence, dignity, and choice in daily living
• Accompany clients to appointments when necessary
• Engage in team meetings to share insights about the client's progress
• Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment through light housekeeping tasks
• Build strong, trusting relationships through effective communication and empathy

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance
• Must pass a variety of background checks and clearances
• Availability to work every other weekend, holidays, and participate in an on-call rotation
