Direct Support Professional / Personal Care Assistant - Caregiver

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with light housekeeping, meals, and personal care tasks
• Get paid to join our clients on walks and fun activities in the community
• Join your clients for appointments, shopping, or other errands as needed
• Support IDD clients in reaching the goals outlined in their Service Plan
• Facilitate community integration, social engagement, and skill-building activities with clients
• Encourage independence, dignity, and choice in daily living
• Accompany clients to appointments when necessary
• Engage in team meetings to share insights about the client's progress
• Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment through light housekeeping tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance
• Able to successfully pass a variety of background checks and clearances
• Availability to work every other weekend, on holidays, and participate in an on-call rotation is required

Pay

• $18.00 per hour for Direct Support Professionals supporting Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD)
• $13.50 per hour for Personal Care Assistant - Caregivers supporting elderly, individuals with physical disabilities, and veterans
