Accessible Space, Inc is a national nonprofit organization providing housing and personal care services to adults with disabilities. We're hiring Direct Support Professionals in Duluth, MN for part‑time and full‑time positions. Why join our team? Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and housekeeping services
- Assist residents in developing or executing independent living skills
- Provide written and/or electronic communication
- Accompany residents to appointments via van transport when necessary
Qualifications
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well with a diverse range of individuals
- Demonstrated customer‑service approach to work
- Strong problem‑solving skills, self‑motivation, and effective time and shift‑priority management
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and providers
- Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English to ensure accurate communication and documentation
- Must pass a background check and meet other employment requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (minimum education)
- No prior experience required
