About the role

Wildwood Programs is a provider of educational, residential, employment, and other community-based supports to people with disabilities and their families. We hire those dedicated to making a difference in people’s lives. We are looking for caring, compassionate Direct Support Professionals to support multiple individuals living in a community setting in the Capital district.

Responsibilities

• Taking individuals to appointments and activities
• Supporting individuals with tasks like: cooking, cleaning, and managing money
• Writing notes as needed
• Other duties as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Ability to travel to different sites as needed
• Availability to work a flexible schedule; work time and days may fluctuate due to individuals' needs
• Positive and encouraging attitude with those they support
• Professional, patient, and positive attitude

Qualifications

• Valid NYS license and clean driving record required
• Ability to lift 50lbs

Pay

Pay Range: $19.45‑$25.05/hr based on verifiable direct care experience
