Direct Support Professional Residential - Awake Overnight

About the role

Wildwood Programs is a provider of educational, residential, employment, and other community-based supports to people with disabilities and their families. We hire those dedicated to making a difference in people’s lives. We are looking for caring, compassionate Direct Support Professionals to work full time in a Residential setting.

Responsibilities

• Help the people who live there by assisting them in activities, such as cooking, doing laundry, running errands, and teaching people with disabilities how to do things on their own.
• Take individuals to appointments and activities.
• Write notes as needed.
• Assist individuals with tasks like cooking, cleaning, showering, toileting, shopping, and managing money.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Qualifications

• Valid NYS license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to be med certified.

Pay

$19.45–$25.05 per hour, based on verifiable direct care experience (this range reflects 20 years of experience).

Schedule

Available shift: Wednesday–Saturday, 10 p.m.–8 a.m. (awake overnight, 40 hours per week).
