Responsibilities
- Provide daily support and care to individuals in a residential setting.
- Help individuals build independence by teaching life skills at home and in the community.
- Follow and implement Individual Support Plans (ISP) and Behavior Support Plans.
- Assist with personal care, medication administration, and health-related needs.
- Support individuals in community activities, relationships, and social connections.
- Accompany individuals to appointments and ensure overall health and well-being.
- Maintain accurate documentation and data collection to track progress and outcomes.
- Take a leadership role by training and mentoring other staff.
- Assist with budgeting, shopping, and managing personal funds.
- Build strong, positive relationships with families, guardians, and team members.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming home environment.

Pay
Starting pay is $20.50/hour for awake hours, with additional differentials based on location and qualifications:
- Cape-based programs: $1/hour differential.
- Martha’s Vineyard programs: $4/hour differential, except Franklin Street program ($3/hour).
- Additional $1/hour differential for employees with active MAP certification (except non–Franklin Street programs on Martha’s Vineyard).
All asleep hours are paid at a flat rate of $17.50/hour.
Schedule
- Thursday: 8pm–9am (asleep overnight).
- Friday and Saturday: 11pm–10am (12am–5am asleep).
- Mandatory monthly staff meeting: 4th Tuesday, 1pm–3pm.
