Direct Support Professional II - Asleep Overnight (3105)

Pay: $20.50–$24.50 per awake hour (differentials based on location and qualifications); $17.50 per asleep hour.

Schedule

• Wednesday 9:00 pm–9:00 am (awake shift)
• Saturday 7:00 pm–9:00 am (12:00 am–6:00 am asleep)
• Mandatory staff meeting the second Tuesday of every month at 9:30 am (minimum 1 hour)

About the Role

As a Direct Support Professional II—Awake Overnight, you’ll empower individuals to live meaningful, independent lives in their communities. At Seven Hills Community Services, the people we support have choice, voice, and control over their lives—and you’ll play a key role in making that happen.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily support and care to individuals in a residential setting.
• Help individuals build independence by teaching life skills at home and in the community.
• Follow and implement Individual Support Plans (ISP) and Behavior Support Plans.
• Assist with personal care, medication administration, and health-related needs.
• Support individuals in community activities, relationships, and social connections.
• Accompany individuals to appointments and ensure overall health and well-being.
• Maintain accurate documentation and data collection to track progress and outcomes.
• Take a leadership role by training and mentoring other staff.
• Assist with budgeting, shopping, and managing personal funds.
• Build strong, positive relationships with families, guardians, and team members.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming home environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or HiSET
• Active US driver’s license issued from your state of residence
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to support individuals with daily living activities
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to treating all individuals with dignity and respect

Pay Details

• Starting pay: $20.50/hour
• Cape-based programs: +$1/hour differential
• Martha’s Vineyard programs: +$4/hour differential (except Franklin Street program: +$3/hour)
• Additional +$1/hour for active MAP certification (except non-Franklin Street programs on Martha’s Vineyard)
• All asleep hours: $17.50/hour flat rate
