Direct Support Professional I - HBTS (3260)

Home-Based Therapeutic Services (HBTS) workers provide specialized intensive direct support services for children with a wide range of disabilities living at home. Working collaboratively with a licensed health care professional and family members, services are delivered in the home and community in age-appropriate settings to develop social skills, communication, and positive behavior.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct behavioral therapy to individuals ages 3 to 21, including role modeling and training to parents and families.
• Support the child and family by promoting individualized, person-centered service delivery that meets all identified needs.
• Assist the child with self-help, self-care, and teaching of social and safety skills when applicable.
• Maintain ongoing communication and data reporting to clinicians and coordinators regarding the approved program.
• Duties will vary depending on the specific needs of each child.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or HiSET required.
• Standard driver’s license – class C or class D.
• 1 – 3 years of related experience.

Pay

$24.00/hour

Schedule

Monday through Thursday from 4 pm to 7:30 pm, and Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm
