Schedules Available

  • 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM, Monday - Thursday; and 6:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Friday
  • 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM, Monday - Wednesday
  • 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Friday; and 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Saturday & Sunday
  • 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Sunday; & 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM, Wednesday
  • 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Tuesday & Thursday

DSP I Essential Responsibilities

Provides assistance with daily living skills in accordance with the persons supported schedule and Individual Service Plan (ISP)

Affords assistance with daily needs/tasks within persons supported home

Assists with medication management, as needed

Affords assistance with personal care, including hygiene

Assists persons supported in weight bearing and non-weight bearing transfers, as needed

Complies with all Momentum policies, procedures, and regulations

Performs other duties as assigned to meet departments and/or business needs

DSP I Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Valid and current proof of legal right to drive in California; required
  • High school diploma or equivalent; required
  • Must have reliable phone/access to phone (monthly stipend)
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience working with people with developmental and/or other disabilities; preferred
  • Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate effectively in English
  • Successfully pass all post-offer, pre-employment screening requirements, including criminal background check, drug screening, and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Able to run, push, pull, bend, squat, kneel, lift up to 50 lbs., and transfer individuals
  • Use of personal vehicle for assignments throughout service areas not normally assigned; highly preferred
  • Must be available to travel throughout Los Angeles and Orange Counties, as needed (mileage reimbursed)
