About Us

Easter Seals Goodwill ND, Inc. is a person‑centered organization that has impacted 326,781 people through its programs and services for the fiscal year 2021‑2022. Services are funded in part by donations received through Goodwill Stores and Shop Goodwill, providing quality care and support for children, adults, and families, as well as training and education for those with employment barriers.

Qualifications

• Interest in and/or experience supporting people with disabilities to achieve their goals and outcomes.
• Ability to work both as part of a team and independently, follow instructions, be receptive to new ideas, and creatively solve problems.
• Belief that everyone, regardless of disability, deserves opportunities to learn and grow.
• Age 16 or older.
• Ability to meet and maintain background investigation requirements and commitment to providing a drug‑free, non‑violent environment for both supported individuals and employees.
• Driver’s license may be required depending on program needs.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist and support people to realize their goals and attain personal outcomes.
• Assist and support people to develop and/or maintain a social support network.
• Assist and support people to maintain or re‑establish family connections.
• Assist and support people to maintain their home, health, and well‑being.
• Assist and support people to utilize community resources.
• Assist and support people to direct their services and make informed choices in all aspects of their life.
• Assist and support people to have a safe environment free of abuse, neglect, or exploitation.
• Advocate for people with disabilities and model positive attitudes, respectful communication, and interactions.
• Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds independently.

Pay

$17.00 – $19.00 per hour, based on experience.

Schedule

Part‑time schedules vary; shifts can be as short as 2 hours per day or longer. Flexible schedule types are offered to fit individual life circumstances while supporting career goals.
