Direct Support Professional Group Homes

About the role

Witco is seeking a Full-Time Graveyard Shift Direct Support Professional (DSP) in our residential home settings. Our DSPs establish safe and favorable living conditions in residential and group home settings, assisting residents in living more independently and achieving their full potential by offering care, assistance, and support.

Our Support Professionals provide a variety of in-home support, including food preparation, domestic tasks, medication administration, financial management, community access, doctor visits, job search assistance, and moral support. DSPs also assist with mobility, eating, drinking, bathing, toileting, hygiene, and personal care.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and assistance to group home residents to promote independence.
• Assist with food preparation and domestic tasks.
• Administer medications as required.
• Support residents with financial management and community access.
• Accompany residents to doctor visits and assist with job searches.
• Provide moral support and companionship.
• Assist with mobility, eating, drinking, bathing, toileting, hygiene, and personal care.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and clear driving record.
• Dependable and reliable with excellent attendance.
• Must complete and receive clearance for Criminal History and fingerprinting for Oregon and Idaho.
• Employment references and pre-hire drug screen required.
