Direct Support Professional / Group Home

Responsibilities

• Provide care in the home of the individual and the community.
• Aid with daily tasks including housekeeping, meal preparation, cooking, and cleaning.
• Support personal care activities such as bathing and dressing.
• Transport clients to appointments and run errands.
• Help plan and organize schedules.
• Document and report in the electronic health system of record daily.

Requirements

• Must be available for full-time, 40-hour per week position.
• Must stay on-site for the duration of the shift and clock out to sleep for 8 hours nightly.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have basic housekeeping, nutrition, and safety knowledge.
• Must possess interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and dependability.
• Must be proficient with EHR systems or able to learn quickly.
• Must have reliable transportation and current auto insurance.
