About the Role

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) at Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH), you’ll play a critical role in empowering individuals and strengthening communities by helping people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) complete everyday living tasks and achieve their goals while living in our group home in Raleigh, NC.

  • Provide care in the home of the individual and the community they live in
  • Assist with everyday tasks such as housekeeping, meal preparation, cooking, and cleaning
  • Support personal care such as bathing and dressing
  • Provide employment support
  • Transport the client to appointments and run errands
  • Help plan and organize their schedule
  • Perform daily documentation and reporting in the electronic health system of record

Schedule

Full-Time: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday-Friday

Greensboro, NC

Pay

$15.00/hour

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (required)
  • Basic knowledge of housekeeping, nutrition, and safety protocols
  • Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and dependability
  • Proficiency with EHR systems or ability to learn new technology
  • Reliable transportation and current auto insurance

Entry-level candidates are welcome; on-the-job training is provided.
