Direct Support Professional / Group Home

Your Role in Our Mission

You will provide care in the home of the individual and the community they live in.

• Assist with everyday tasks such as housekeeping, meal preparation, cooking, and cleaning
• Assist with personal care such as bathing and dressing, toiletry and changing diapers
• Provide employment support
• Transport clients to appointments and run errands
• Help plan and organize their schedule
• Perform daily documentation and reporting in the electronic health system of record

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation: $15.00/hour

Schedule: Saturday AM through Monday AM; Overnight stay is required during the rotation, but staff is off-duty and asleep for the night hours unless there is an emergency.

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or GED required
• Experience: Entry-level; on-the-job training is provided
• Knowledge: Basic housekeeping, basic nutrition, and safety protocols
• Skills: Interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and dependability are a must
• Technology: Proficiency with EHR systems or technically savvy to learn
• Transportation: Must have reliable transportation, driver's license, and current auto insurance
