Direct Support Professional Full-time

About the role

As a Direct Support Professional, you’ll play a meaningful role in providing direct programming and/or dietary, laundry, toileting, housekeeping, or other support to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct programming support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist with dietary needs, laundry, toileting, and housekeeping tasks.
• Deliver other essential support services as required.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate in English, both spoken and written.
• Valid Driver’s License and insurable driving record.
• Ability to obtain and maintain First Aid, CPR (adult, child, and infant), and delegated nursing certifications (training provided if not already certified).

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
