Direct Support Professional - Float

About the role

We are a company that provides care giver services to individuals who are developmentally disabled. All our group homes are in the Bloomington, MN area.

Responsibilities

• Provide a variety of services to our residents, including (but not limited to): providing care giver services, teaching and maintaining skills, cooking, meal preparation, and feeding assistance, supporting with hobbies, studies, and social activities, participating in the development of Individual Program Plans, medication administration, and participating in fun recreational activities with residents.

Requirements

• Flexible availability
• Previous experience working as a DSP

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Valid US driver's license
• Basic computer skills
• Willingness to do personal cares for residents, including bathing, toileting, dressing, administering medications, and lifts.

Pay

Salary: $19.00-$20.00 hourly, DOQ

Schedule

Full time, 40 hour a week position. Variable schedule from week to week depending on where our needs are.

Connections Services, LLC will conduct a Minnesota Department of Human Services Background Study on all new employees.
