For more than 35 years, we’ve developed programs to meet the diverse needs of clients with moderate to severe traumatic and acquired brain injuries, including post‑concussion syndrome, stroke, memory loss, neurobehavioral issues, and accident or sports‑related head injuries. The Direct Support Professional position works in residential programs located in Greensburg and Irwin, Pennsylvania, providing assistance and supervision to promote clients’ success in daily living tasks, recreational activities, and vocational pursuits.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Support clients during therapies.
• Drive and accompany clients to appointments, activities, and other outings.
• Provide minimum to maximum assistance and/or supervision to promote clients’ success in daily living tasks, recreational activities, and vocational pursuits.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with responsible driving behavior.
• Ability to lift 50 lb.
• Diplomas from non‑U.S. educational institutions must include professional documentation/evaluation that the program is equivalent to or exceeds U.S. educational requirements; documentation required prior to employment.
