About the role
The role involves providing direct support services to individuals with developmental disabilities, focusing on daily living activities, socialization, and health maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with personal care routines such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Facilitate social interactions and community integration activities.
- Monitor and report on individual’s health and safety needs.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance service delivery.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with individuals and their families.
- Pass a background check and criminal history review.
