Direct Support Professional (DSP)

About the role

Peaceful Living is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. DSPs provide much needed assistance and care to help others live their lives to the fullest. DSPs are there to support and assist with life skills, activities of daily living, community participation, transportation, and personal care.

Day Program Location/Hours

Harleysville, Monday-Friday 8am-3:30pm, Full-time and Part-Time positions available

Residential Home Locations/Hours

Harleysville, Telford, Lansdale 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am shifts available. Full-time, part-time, weekend availability is a must. Overtime available if desired.

Compensation and Benefits for Full-time employees

- Compensation range: $18.10 to $19.85 based on years of DSP experience, $.50 cent shift differential for hours worked between 3pm and 7am in Residential Services - Generous paid time off - Up to $3,000 in tuition assistance (after meeting employment requirements) - Opportunities for overtime available - Career advancement opportunities - Medical, vision, and dental insurance - Retirement plan - Employee referral bonus

Requirements

- Be at least 18 years of age - Possess a high school diploma/GED - Have and maintain a valid (state of residence) driver's license and driving approval from Peaceful Living - Successfully pass and maintain all criminal background checks - Complete pre-employment physical and TB test
