About the role
Mains’l Services is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to support individuals in their homes and communities.
Responsibilities
- Support an individual in their home and community with person-centered supports tailored to the individual needs (including Activities of Daily Living, behavioral supports, coaching and skill-building)
- Avoids transportation to various activities and medical appointments
- Maintain safe, clean, and welcoming living environments (including laundry, housekeeping, and meal preparation)
- Teach valuable skills—from financial management to communication
- Be a source of companionship, guidance, and advocacy
- Accurately document care and daily activities
Requirements
- Compassion, reliability, and a willingness to learn
- Must be 18 years or older
- A valid US driver’s license, reliable transportation with insurance
- Ability to pass a background check through DHS
