Direct Support Professional (DSP)

About the role

The role involves providing direct support services in a residential setting, including daily living activities, medication management, and behavioral interventions.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene and grooming tasks
• Monitor and record vital signs as needed
• Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Support residents in engaging in recreational and social activities
• Document resident progress and communicate with supervisors and families

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred
• Ability to pass a background check and criminal history review
