Direct Support Professional DSP

The Role

Hope Haven of Northeast GA is seeking Direct Support Professionals who are reliable, have excellent communication skills, basic computer skills, work well within a team, can be a positive role model for the individuals they serve, has excellent time management skills, and enjoys improving the lives of the individuals we serve.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct support services to individuals, including supervision and skill development consistent with individual choices and outcomes
• Maintaining documentation requirements involving individual and/or program record-keeping
• Aid the Home Coordinators and/or Case Coordinators with case management responsibilities
• Monitor and supervise the individuals in self-administrating medications
• Perform various other duties as may be assigned

Work Schedule

Flexible shifts (morning, evening, overnight)

Weekdays

Weekends

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid Driver's License and Vehicle Insurance
• Acceptable motor vehicle and criminal records report
• Reliable personal transportation
• Acceptable Pre-Employment Drug Screen
