Direct Support Professional (DSP)

About the role

The individual enjoys music lessons and community activities and is looking for a DSP who can help him get out of the house, stay active, and participate in activities he enjoys.

Responsibilities

• Drive and accompany the individual to music lessons and other activities
• Encourage community participation and independence
• Provide positive companionship and support
• Complete required service documentation

Requirements

• Moderate to high energy
• Friendly, encouraging, and engaging personality
• Comfortable motivating and encouraging the individual to participate in activities
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive
• Dependable and comfortable providing one-on-one community support
• DSP/IDD experience preferred
