About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Male Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team in Farmingdale, New Jersey. As a DSP, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our adult clients with developmental disabilities.

Schedule

• Tuesday: 10 AM - 3 PM
• Thursday: 10 AM - 3 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, to our adult clients
• Assist with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, medication management, and household chores
• Support clients in developing daily living skills, such as communication, social, and adaptive skills
• Encourage and participate in recreational and leisure activities to promote socialization and overall well-being
• Maintain accurate records of client care and daily activities
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure effective client care and support

Requirements

• Previous experience in direct support or similar field preferred
• Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
