About The Role

We’re hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide one-on-one care and guidance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in home and community settings. As a DSP, you’ll help individuals achieve greater independence, participate in daily activities, and live meaningful lives—all while working with a supportive team.

Responsibilities

  • Support individuals in home and community settings per their Individual Support Plans
  • Encourage participation in social, recreational, and leisure activities
  • Promote independence in daily routines like cooking, cleaning, and hygiene
  • Assist with transportation to appointments and community events
  • Document daily progress and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with other care professionals and families

Required Qualifications

  • At least 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and good driving record
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to meet clients

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a home or community-based setting
  • Background in caregiving, human services, or special education
