Direct Support Professional / Caregiver
Responsibilities
As a Direct Support Professional at Link, you work with adults who have various types of intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Cook meals
- Take medicine
- Do laundry
- Clean homes
- Aid with personal care
- Provide transportation
- Accompany people into the community for errands, visits, and outings
- Attend events with people they support
- Get to know each person's likes, dislikes, joys, and triggers
Requirements
We offer both set schedules and flexible schedules, with overnight hours paid at $13.00 per hour.
Overtime is available but not mandatory.
Qualifications
Experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team is required.
Skills
Knowledge of community resources and services.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
