Location & Schedule
Titusville, PA – Part‑Time, Non‑Exempt. Flexible hours, possible up to 40 hours per week.
About the Role
The Direct Support Professional provides compassionate, person‑centered care to adults with developmental disabilities in home or community settings, promoting health, well‑being, and personal growth.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily living activities such as hygiene, meals, and medication reminders.
- Support individuals in achieving personal goals and participating in social activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the care team.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Additional coursework or certification in human services or related fields (a plus).
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities (preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
- Proficient computer skills; experience with an electronic health record (EHR) system is a plus.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance coverage (required).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
