Direct Support Professional

Traditional Home Care, a locally owned and operated Home Care Agency, is seeking reliable, experienced direct support professionals to provide one-on-one, non-medical support to individuals diagnosed with intellectual, developmental disabilities, autism, mental health, or behavioral diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal care services (bathing, grooming, dressing)
• Provide companionship
• Use appropriate communication and social skills
• Perform light housekeeping and chores
• Ensure a safe environment and teach basic safety skills
• Help individuals meet goals and outcomes
• Promote community involvement (outings, activities, errands, etc.)

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Current Driver’s License
• Prior experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP)
• Comfortable using smartphones or tablets (for EVV compliance)
• Reliable internet access

This position complies with the 21st Century Cures Act, which mandates Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) for home care services. You will use a mobile device to log visits and track service hours.

Schedule

• Full-time and part-time positions available
• Shifts: 6, 8, 10, or 12 hours

Pay

$15.00–$18.00 per hour
