About the role
Sevita provides community‑based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a caregiver you will help participants grow, learn, and live well while building meaningful relationships and supporting their daily needs.
Responsibilities
- Help participants engage in community activities and enjoy their favorite pursuits.
- Support developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
- Assist with personal hygiene and daily living tasks.
- Provide care for individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
- Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve.
- Take initiative and act with ownership and trust from leadership.
Qualifications
- Preferred: at least six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination.
- Skills: strong communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time‑management.
- Behaviors: patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible.
- Valid driver’s license.
Pay
$15 hourly, paid bi‑weekly.
Schedule
Thursday – Friday: 3 p.m. – 11 p.m.
Saturday: 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
