Direct Support Professional

About the role

Sevita provides community‑based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a caregiver you will help participants grow, learn, and live well while building meaningful relationships and supporting their daily needs.

Responsibilities

• Help participants engage in community activities and enjoy their favorite pursuits.
• Support developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Assist with personal hygiene and daily living tasks.
• Provide care for individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve.
• Take initiative and act with ownership and trust from leadership.

Qualifications

• Preferred: at least six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination.
• Skills: strong communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time‑management.
• Behaviors: patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible.
• Valid driver’s license.

Pay

$15 hourly, paid bi‑weekly.

Schedule

Thursday – Friday: 3 p.m. – 11 p.m.
Saturday: 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
