About the role

Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH) empowers individuals and strengthens communities through its mission. As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you'll play a crucial role in achieving this mission by supporting people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in completing daily tasks and pursuing their goals.

Responsibilities

Provide care in the home of the individual and in the community
Aid with housekeeping, meal preparation, cooking, and cleaning
Support personal care activities such as bathing and dressing
Transport clients to appointments and run errands
Plan and organize schedules
Document and report in the electronic health system of record

Requirements

Entry-level, on-the-job training provided
A high school diploma or GED
Basic housekeeping, nutrition, and safety protocols knowledge
Interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and dependability
Proficiency with EHR systems or willingness to learn

Reliable transportation and current auto insurance
