Direct Support Professional
About the Role
Merakey is seeking Direct Support Professionals to join our team in Warminster, PA. This role involves working with individuals who have Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, helping them achieve their goals and enhance their independence through daily support and mentoring.
Spend your day in a variety of settings, such as parks and sensory gardens, while assisting with social and communication skills, daily hygiene, personal care, and daily living activities like housekeeping and laundry.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
- Experience in a home health aide setting or school setting working with people who have Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities is preferred.
- Must have a desire to help others reach their fullest potential.
Pay
$16.00/hour.
Schedule
Saturday & Sunday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
