Direct Support Professional

We’re looking for dependable, kind-hearted individuals to join our ‘ohana as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Nampa and Meridian. If you’re looking for meaningful weekend work where you can truly make a difference, this is it. In this role, you’ll support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting, helping them build independence, feel supported, and live fulfilling lives.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily living activities such as personal care, meals, and medication assistance
• Provide encouragement, emotional support, and companionship
• Assist with community outings and recreational activities
• Help build life skills like communication, social interaction, and self-care
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive home environment
• Document care and communicate effectively with the team
• Work alongside families and providers to follow individualized care plans

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Caregiving experience is a plus (we’re happy to train the right person!)
• Strong communication and people skills
• A compassionate, patient, and reliable nature
• Ability to pass a background check
• Valid driver’s license with reliable, insured, and registered transportation
• CPR/First Aid & Medication Certification (training provided)

Schedule

• Day shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Swing shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• ON shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
