About the role

Lifesteps is a local human service agency that has been in business for over 100 years and is immediately hiring compassionate and caring staff to work with adults who have disabilities in a residential home setting in the Monroeville, PA area. Direct Care Aides (Caregivers) assist adult individuals with their daily living skills and home care, such as cooking, cleaning, shopping, personal care assistance, medication administration, and goal attainment. The position offers steady, full-time hours with part‑time and flexible scheduling options available.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cooking and meal preparation
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning tasks
• Help with shopping and errands
• Provide personal care assistance
• Administer medications as directed
• Support individuals in achieving personal goals

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to lift up to 200 lbs. with assistance
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
• Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances
• No prior experience required – paid training provided
• Experienced home health aides and direct support professionals are welcome

Schedule

• Evening shift: 3 pm – 11 pm
• Overnight shift: 11 pm – 7 am
• Part‑time hours available with flexible scheduling to fit your needs
