About the role
Responsible for providing direct support services to individuals in their homes. Duties include assisting with daily living activities, medication management, and promoting independence and safety.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal hygiene and grooming
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Monitor health and administer medications as needed
- Help with meal preparation and nutrition
- Ensure home safety and security
- Communicate regularly with clients and families
- Participate in regular training sessions
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Passing background check
- Experience in caregiving or related field preferred
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR
