About the role
Ameriwell Care is seeking a confident, responsible, patient, and kind DSP to support a bright 23-year-old nonverbal individual in Sparta, New Jersey. Schedule: Part-time, approximately 10–25 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Help the individual develop life skills and greater independence
- Accompany the individual into the community to pursue hobbies, interests, and meaningful activities
- Learn and follow the individual’s preferred communication methods
Qualifications
- Must be confident, responsible, dependable, patient, and kind
- Willingness to learn the individual’s unique communication style (RPM/ASL)
