Direct Support Professional
About the role
Join our team in Grand Rapids, MN as a Direct Support Professional (DSP). We have immediate Part-Time hours available in a supportive team environment with opportunities for growth. As a DSP, you will provide essential support to individuals with disabilities, assisting with activities of daily living, medication administration, personal cares, and meal preparation to help those individuals live independently and maintain a high quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with disabilities in activities of daily living
- Administer medications
- Provide personal care
- Prepare meals
- Support individuals in living independently and maintaining a high quality of life
Qualifications
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with a diverse range of individuals
- A demonstrated customer-service approach to work
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to self-motivate and effectively manage time and shift priorities
- Ability to effectively communicate with residents and providers
- Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak English to ensure accurate communication and documentation
- Must pass a background check and meet other employment requirements
No experience or driver's license required. Paid training provided.
